About These Beers

As we celebrate our 30th year as a craft brewery, we wanted to create a small batch series that encapsulates the spirit of Hinterland. For our Artisan Ales Series we revisited classic styles, assembled our favorite ingredients, embraced innovation, and wrote recipes that we hope will have you excited to be drinking the unbeaten path. 

Alpenwald Altbier

4.7% ABV || 25 IBU

Our German-style Altbier was brewed with a blend of German malts and hops, striking a harmonious blend with neither dominating. Expect a malt character that’s rich and biscuity with a subtle, light chocolate flavor, balanced with a floral aroma and bitterness from the Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. Part of our 30th Anniversary Artisan Ales Series.

Saison du Champs

6% ABV || 21 IBU

Falling under the umbrella of Farmhouse Ale, our newest Saison was inspired by classic versions of this style, which originated in Wallonia, Belgium. Effervescent, dry, floral, and citrusy with hints of yeast-derived spice. A refreshing food-pairing beer. Part of our 30th Anniversary Artisan Ales Series.

Can Splitter Dubbel

6.7% ABV || 18 IBU

Our Belgian-style Dubbel glows the color of a tiger’s eye gemstone in sunlight, and the flavor is even more dazzling. Expect perceivably sweet notes of dark fruit and brown sugar, low hop bitterness, and a dry finish. Part of our 30th Anniversary Artisan Ales Series.

Galaxy Zest Pale Ale

5.7% ABV || 11 IBU

Our low-bitterness Australian-style Pale Ale showcases the tropical characteristics of Galaxy, Elani, and Krush hops, with the yeast packing a major juicy punch. Prepare your palate for bold, ripe peach and mango flavors with an underlying backbone of sweet citrus. Part of our 30th Anniversary Artisan Ales Series.
